Bam Bam Bits! Creating Music with Drums and Electronics Workshop

Join Scottsdale Public Art and Professor McGee (Nathaniel Lewis) for Bam Bam Bits! Creating music with Drums and Electronics with Lisa Tolentino and Robert Esler. This workshop introduces young people to the art of making music with drums, percussion, electronics and everyday objects, a.k.a. “found sounds.” It opens with a mini-performance by experimental music duo “Rules of Play” (Lisa Tolentino and Robert Esler), followed by hands-on activities building different kinds of instruments. It concludes with a final mini-performance with everyone using the instruments and music they have created. Nathaniel Lewis Presents: The Catacombs of Professor McGee! and the summer 2016 exhibtion workshops have been made possible by a generous donation from the Carstens Family Funds.
